New musical Wikipedilove Comes To Edinburgh Fringe 2018

Learn about sex and romance, both human and animal in new musical Wikipedilove at the Edinburgh Fringe 2018.

Wikipedilove Edinburgh Fringe

Wikipedilove is a two-person Fringe show, a unique musical comedy, where Noam Osband and Rena Hundert sing songs based on Wikipedia articles dealing with true-life stories of sex and romance, both human and animal. Topics include oddities like Eva Braun’s tragic love life, concealed ovulation, and spider sexual cannibalism, and the show uses a mixture of song and a projector showing academic articles, photos, and videos. It’s the funniest and weirdest seminar you’ve never attended, and its use of academic info, like this examination of the relationship of ovulation to stripper earning, makes it unique and distinguishes it from most musical comedy shows at the Fringe.

Noam Osband is a long-time musical comedian and street performer who lives in New York City and became a viral video last year for singing while crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. He’s also a doctor of anthropology and a former Jeopardy champ. Rena Hunder is a LA-based comedian and a veteran of the Toronto and Montreal Fringe festivals.
