The Tony Awards 2017 were held at Radio City Musical Hall last night (June 11) hosted by Kevin Spacey with Dear Evan Hansen the biggest winner on the night taking home six awards including the highly coveted award for Best Musical.
Hello Dolly! starring Bette Midler won four awards including Best Revival of a Musical. In the play category Oslo won two awards including Best Play.
Britain’s Nigel Hook won Best Scenic Design Of a Play for his work on the The Play That Goes Wrong.
Our quote of the night came from Ben Platt who won the Tony for Best Actor In A Musical. In his acceptance speech Platt said “it’s the things that make you strange that are the things that make you powerful.”
