Mel Brooks' outrageous, record-breaking musical comedy returns to the West End at Garrick Theatre following a sold-out Menier Chocolate Factory run. Book The Producers tickets for "the funniest show in London" (Evening Standard).
The Producers follows the outrageous scheme of down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and his timid accountant Leo Bloom at the Garrick Theatre. When Leo realizes that a producer could make more money with a flop than a hit, Max hatches a plan: raise far more money than needed, produce the worst show in Broadway history, and pocket the difference. Their guaranteed disaster? "Springtime for Hitler." The only problem? It becomes a smash hit.
Adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks' classic 1967 film, The Producers won a record-breaking twelve Tony Awards on Broadway. The brilliantly satirical score features showstoppers including "I Wanna Be a Producer," "Keep It Gay," "Springtime for Hitler," and "Betrayed." Book The Producers tickets for the West End revival critics are calling "the musical riot of the century"!
Director Patrick Marber (Leopoldstadt) has reimagined The Producers for a new generation, maintaining Mel Brooks' "equal opportunity offender" spirit with fresh theatrical invention. Following its acclaimed, sold-out run at Menier Chocolate Factory, this production has transferred to the West End with unanimous five-star reviews and extended through September 2026.
The Producers tickets offer audiences first-class performances from Andy Nyman as Max Bialystock and Olivier Award nominee Marc Antolin as Leo Bloom. With choreography by Lorin Latarro delivering high-kicking production numbers, this is the definitive London revival of Mel Brooks' masterpiece.
The Producers score by Mel Brooks includes unforgettable numbers: "I Wanna Be a Producer," "We Can Do It," "I'm Drowning," "Keep It Gay," the outrageous "Springtime for Hitler," "Betrayed," and "Til Him." The show's musical numbers are legendary for their wit and spectacle.
Fans of irreverent musical comedy may also enjoy The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre or Titanique at the Criterion Theatre.
