Mel Brooks’ Musical Comedy Returns to the West End from 30 August 2025

The full company has been confirmed for the highly anticipated West End transfer of the Menier Chocolate Factory’s smash-hit revival of Mel Brooks’ The Producers. The production opens at the Garrick Theatre on 30 August 2025 and runs until 21 February 2026, following its critically acclaimed, sold-out run in Southwark.

Directed by Patrick Marber, with choreography by Lorin Latarro, this major revival marks the first London staging of The Producers in nearly 20 years.

A Hilarious Hit Returns

Based on the iconic 1967 film and adapted for the stage by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, The Producers follows a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and a nervous accountant who hatch a scheme to produce the worst show in history and pocket the profits. But when their outrageous Nazi-themed musical Springtime for Hitler becomes a surprise hit, chaos and hilarity ensue.

The original Broadway production won a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards, and the show remains one of the funniest and most successful musical comedies of all time.
