The Lyric Theatre in London has unveiled striking new production photography for the award-winning musical Hadestown, featuring recent additions Trevor Dion Nicholas as Hades and Rachel Tucker as Persephone. These images capture the dynamic performances and evocative atmosphere of the show, which has captivated West End audiences.

Hadestown, which intertwines the ancient myths of Orpheus and Eurydice with that of Hades and Persephone, continues to draw crowds with its soul-stirring music and powerful storytelling. The new cast, including Madeline Charlemagne as Eurydice, Melanie La Barrie as Hermes, and Dylan Wood as Orpheus, adds fresh energy and depth to the production.

Photographer Marc Brenner’s images showcase the intense, emotionally charged moments from the show, highlighting the rich, underworld setting and the intricate costumes that bring the story to life. The production is directed by Tony Award-winner Rachel Chavkin, with music, lyrics, and book by celebrated singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell.

Hadestown has received numerous accolades, including eight Tony Awards, and continues its successful run at the Lyric Theatre. The show’s combination of modern American folk music and New Orleans jazz, along with its compelling narrative and innovative stagecraft, ensures it remains a must-see.
