Award-winning actress Dylan Mulvaney is set to join the cast of Drew Gasparini's We Aren’t Kids Anymore at the Savoy Theatre, making her West End concert debut on 28 April 2025. This new contemporary musical, featuring an ensemble cast including Sam Tutty and Aimie Atkinson, explores our shared journey through life and its key moments that shape us.
Mulvaney, celebrated for her viral series Days of Girlhood and recognised on the Out100 List, will portray one of the five intricate narratives within the show. Known for her captivating performances and dynamic presence, Mulvaney expressed her excitement about performing in her "favourite city" and bringing such a unique musical experience to life.
We Aren’t Kids Anymore presents a radical approach to traditional musical theatre, incorporating a range of styles including pop, rock, and country. The musical, which began as Gasparini's autobiographical concept album, has evolved into a poignant exploration of life's complexities and the connections we forge along the way. The premiere will also feature a second act showcasing Gasparini in concert, joined by the cast and special invited guests.
The musical is directed by Richard Fitch with choreography by Chris Cuming and musical supervision and direction by Lauren Hopkinson. This production not only marks an innovative addition to London's theatre scene but also celebrates the versatility of musical theatre when conventional rules are challenged.
