Alfie Boe Joins Sheridan Smith for Manchester at the Musicals at Co-op Live

Alfie Boe OBE, renowned for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, is set to co-host the festive event Manchester at the Musicals alongside Sheridan Smith at Manchester’s Co-op Live on 20 December 2024. This one-off Christmas special will feature a blend of West End hits and holiday classics, creating a perfect seasonal celebration.
The event, promising an ultimate festive party, will see performances from a star-studded lineup including Samantha Barks, John Owen-Jones, Alice Fearn, and Elesha Paul Moses. They will be performing songs from Wicked, Hamilton, Les Misérables, and more, alongside cherished Christmas songs like ‘White Christmas’ and ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’.
Boe expressed his excitement about joining the event, highlighting the evening as a festive celebration of musical theatre and the holiday spirit. The night will also feature the Manchester Camerata orchestra and performances by students from the Pendleton School of Theatre Choir, adding a local flair to the international musical showcase.
