Indicados aos Drama Desk Awards 2019 Anunciados

As Nomeações para os Drama Desk Awards 2019 foram anunciadas hoje com uma reinterpretação de Oklahoma! liderando com 12 nomeações.

Foto: Cory Weaver Os Drama Desk Awards são concedidos a espetáculos na Broadway, Off-Broadway e Off-Off Broadway. A cerimônia deste ano será realizada no The Town Hall, Nova York, em 2 de junho de 2019.

Tootsie e Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future seguiram Oklahoma! com 11 nomeações cada.

Produções de Hadestown, Torch Song e Choir Boy, todas as quais tiveram apresentações Off-Broadway em temporadas anteriores, só foram elegíveis em categorias onde os nomeadores consideraram haver novos trabalhos.

Produções de Be More Chill, What the Constitution Means To Me, Oklahoma! e The New One tiveram apresentações tanto Off-Broadway quanto na Broadway na mesma temporada, sendo assim consideradas juntas para as nomeações.

Os Drama Desk Awards são votados por críticos de teatro, jornalistas, editores, publicadores e emissoras.
