Annunciati i candidati dei Drama Desk Awards 2019

Le nomination dei Drama Desk Awards 2019 sono state annunciate oggi, con un revival di Oklahoma! che guida la classifica con 12 nomination.

I Drama Desk Awards vengono assegnati a spettacoli su Broadway, Off-Broadway e Off-Off Broadway. La cerimonia di quest'anno si svolgerà al Town Hall di New York il 2 giugno 2019.

Tootsie e Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future seguono Oklahoma! con 11 nomination ciascuno.

Le produzioni di Hadestown, Torch Song e Choir Boy, tutte con esibizioni off-Broadway nelle stagioni precedenti, erano eleggibili solo nelle categorie in cui i nominatori consideravano ci fossero nuove opere.

Le produzioni di Be More Chill, What the Constitution Means To Me, Oklahoma! e The New One hanno avuto esibizioni Off-Broadway e Broadway nella stessa stagione, quindi entrambe le produzioni sono state considerate insieme per le nomination.

I Drama Desk Awards vengono votati da critici teatrali, giornalisti, redattori, editori e emittenti.
