Full Cast Announced for the World Premiere of Here & Now at The Alexandra Birmingham

The eagerly awaited new musical Here & Now, featuring the iconic pop group Steps, has announced its full cast for the world premiere at The Alexandra, Birmingham. Running from 9 November to 30 November 2024, this production promises to be a spectacular blend of pop music theatre and heartfelt storytelling.
Joining the previously announced Rebecca Lock as Caz, and Hiba Elchikhe as Neeta, the ensemble features renowned names such as Finty Williams, Dan Partridge, and Helen Colby, alongside Steps fan favourite River Medway of RuPaul's Drag Race UK fame. The production will showcase Steps’ greatest hits, woven into an original narrative that explores themes of love, betrayal, and redemption in a vibrant retail setting.
The show's creative team includes director Rachel Kavanaugh and Olivier Award-winning choreographer Matt Cole, ensuring a dynamic and visually stunning presentation. Set design by Tom Rogers and costumes by Gabriella Slade will bring the colourful world of a seaside superstore to life, accompanied by Howard Hudson's lighting and sound by Adam Fisher.
Here & Now has already extended its run due to overwhelming demand, highlighting the public’s excitement for this musical venture by Steps, who are not only producing the show but whose hits form the backbone of its soundtrack. With songs like "Tragedy/Heartbeat" and "Stomp," the musical is set to resonate with both die-hard fans and new audiences.
Tickets for Here & Now are available now, with special performances including an audio-described show on 19 November and a signed performance on 21 November. This musical debut is expected to be a highlight of the theatrical season, blending iconic pop anthems with fresh theatrical storytelling.
