Premios Tony 2017 - Los Nominados

Es esa época del año nuevamente cuando se anunciaron las nominaciones para los Premios Tony 2017 hoy (3 de mayo de 2017).

Encabezando el campo está Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, una ópera pop basada en un pequeño fragmento de Guerra y Paz de Tolstoy, que cuenta con Josh Groban como protagonista. Con diez nominaciones está Hello Dolly! del legendario compositor de Broadway Jerry Herman, que regresa con Bette Midler y David Hyde Pierce. Tras su victoria en los Premios Olivier 2017, Groundhog Day está nuevamente nominado como Mejor Musical junto a The Great Comet, Dear Evan Hansen, y Come From Away. En la categoría de Mejor Obra abundan los debuts en Broadway, con cuatro escritores estadounidenses que hacen su primera aparición en Broadway, incluidos A Doll's House - Part 2 de Lucas Hnath, Sweat de Lynn Nottage, Oslo de J T Rogers, y Indecent de Paula Vogel.

Los Premios Tony de este año se celebrarán en el Radio City Music Hall el domingo 11 de junio de 2017 a las 8 p.m. (EST), presentados por Kevin Spacey.
