Derry Girls star Kathy Kiera Clarke will lead the world premiere of Heartsink, a new medical drama running at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith from 21 April to 10 May 2026.
About the Play
Written by former GP Farine Clarke and directed by Sean Turner, Heartsink follows a doctor who becomes seriously ill and must confront the healthcare system from the other side — as a patient. The title refers to the medical term for patients whose appointments make doctors' hearts sink.
Clarke stars alongside Aden Gillet as Dr Jeffrey Longford, Vikash Bhai as Dr Roofi, and Megan Marszal as Suzie. Press night is scheduled for 24 April.
The Creative Team
The production features design by Matteo Mastrandrea, lighting by Chuma Emembolu, sound by Hattie North, and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow. Performances take place in Studio 3 at Riverside Studios.
