Half A Sixpence is the musical adaptation of H G Wells's semi-autobiographical novel "Kipps: The Story Of A Simple Soul".

CHARLIE STEMP - A STAR IN THE MAKING

Cameron Mackintosh has proclaimed that the star of Half A Sixpence Charlie Stemp - fresh from drama school is a remarkable talent and a star in the making.

HALF A SIXPENCE - A CLASSIC FAVOURITE

The original version of Half A Sixpence was written as a vehicle for UK pop sensation Tommy Steel back in 1963. A veritable force of nature, Tommy Steele starred in the London and Broadway productions of Half A Sixpence before taking on the role of Kipps in the movie adaptation of the show.

REVIEW: Half A Sixpence, Noel Coward Theatre ✭✭✭✭

All in all, this collaboration between the Chichester Festival Theatre and Cameron Mackintosh is a splendidly handsome revival of a much-loved classic story, offering a fresh look at one of the greatest British musical scores ever written, and incorporating a lot of fine new writing by some of the most experienced creatives in the industry. It's a delight.
