Brighton Fringe anuncia vencedores dos prêmios de 2017

Produção de Urinetown no Brighton Little Theatre

Os destaques dos espetáculos e artistas do Brighton Fringe deste ano foram anunciados nos prêmios anuais do festival.

Entre os 24 prêmios apresentados, os vencedores incluíram a produção musical Urinetown da Brighton Little Theatre Company (foto), Ingo's War da Ditto Theatre Company, Bug Camp de Paul Macauley da Broken Silence Theatre e a produção de Agamemnon de Steven Berkoff pelos Windmill Young Actors.

O espetáculo infantil A Lenda do Cockatrice da Mumblecrust Theatre conquistou dois prêmios – Melhor Novo Talento do Brighton Fringe pela Voice e o International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF): Melhor Espetáculo Infantil e Familiar do Brighton Fringe.

Outros vencedores incluem Cinebra: A History of Horror, que ganhou £2.500 para uma turnê em um festival Fringe internacional como parte do Pebble Trust International Touring Award.

Teatro Pomodoro também ganhou a oportunidade de fazer uma turnê no exterior. A companhia, que fez parte do programa Window do Brighton Fringe para novos trabalhos excepcionais, foi selecionada para se apresentar em dois Fringes na “rede Nórdica” de Bergen, Gotemburgo, Reykjavík e Estocolmo no próximo ano.
