Il Brighton Fringe annuncia i vincitori dei premi 2017

La produzione di Urinetown da parte del Brighton Little Theatre

I migliori spettacoli e performer del Brighton Fringe di quest'anno sono stati annunciati nei premi annuali del festival.

Tra i 24 premi assegnati, tra i vincitori ci sono stati la produzione musicale Urinetown del Brighton Little Theatre Company (in foto), Ingo’s War del Ditto Theatre Company, Bug Camp di Paul Macauley del Broken Silence Theatre e la produzione di Agamennone di Steven Berkoff dei Windmill Young Actors.

Lo spettacolo per bambini The Tale of the Cockatrice di Mumblecrust Theatre ha conquistato due premi: Voice's Best Newcomer to Brighton Fringe e l’International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF): Best of Brighton Fringe Children and Family Show.

Altri vincitori includono Cinebra: A History of Horror, che ha vinto £2.500 per un tour in un festival Fringe internazionale come parte del Pebble Trust International Touring Award.

Teatro Pomodoro ha anche vinto l’opportunità di fare un tour all’estero. La compagnia, che faceva parte del programma Brighton Fringe Window per opere nuove e straordinarie, è stata selezionata per fare un tour in due festival Fringe nel “network nordico” di Bergen, Gothenburg, Reykjavik e Stoccolma l'anno prossimo.
