Dan Burton, Darren Day and Sinitta Join Chicago UK and Ireland Tour for 2025

Major Casting Announced for the Long-Running Musical's Next Touring Chapter

The UK and Ireland tour of Chicago continues into 2025 with the addition of three high-profile stars. Dan Burton and Darren Day will share the role of smooth-talking lawyer Billy Flynn, while pop icon Sinitta joins as the formidable Mama Morton in select cities across the tour.

The production, which continues to draw sell-out audiences around the country, is presented by David Ian for Crossroads Live, in association with Barry and Fran Weissler.

Tour Casting Details Revealed

  • Dan Burton will appear as Billy Flynn in Bournemouth, Nottingham, Birmingham, Truro, and Llandudno.

  • Darren Day will take over in Wimbledon, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Hull, Eastbourne, Norwich, Blackpool, Woking, Sunderland, Crawley, Glasgow, and Salford.

  • Sinitta will play Mama Morton in Bournemouth, Canterbury, Norwich, Woking, Crawley, and Glasgow.

  • Brenda Edwards continues in the role of Mama Morton in Nottingham, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Wimbledon, Leicester, and Salford.

  • Faye Brookes returns as Roxie Hart in Canterbury and Bristol, while Janette Manrara plays Roxie at all other tour stops.

  • Kevin Clifton continues as Billy Flynn in Canterbury and Bristol.

They join a principal cast including Djalenga Scott (Velma Kelly), Joshua Lloyd (Amos Hart), and Jordan Lee Davies (Mary Sunshine).


A Star-Studded Line-Up

Dan Burton is an Olivier-nominated West End star known for Gypsy, White Christmas, Legally Blonde, and previous productions of Chicago.
Darren Day, a familiar face from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, returns to the role of Billy Flynn following his 2024 appearance.
Sinitta, the chart-topping singer behind hits such as “So Macho” and “Toy Boy,” also brings extensive stage experience in Cats, Hair, and Little Shop of Horrors.
Brenda Edwards, a fan favourite from The X Factor and Loose Women, reprises her acclaimed performance as Mama Morton.
Faye Brookes (ITV’s Coronation Street) and Janette Manrara (Strictly Come Dancing, Burn the Floor) lead the company as Roxie Hart across different cities.

With a sultry jazz-infused score and razor-sharp choreography, Chicago remains one of the most iconic and influential musicals in theatre history.
