What is Grease the Musical about?

Grease is set in the fictional Rydell High School in 1959 and follows the romance between tough greaser Danny Zuko and sweet new girl Sandy Dumbrowski. After a summer fling, they discover they are at the same school but must navigate the social pressures of their respective cliques, the Pink Ladies and the T-Birds. The show's irresistible score includes Summer Nights, You're the One That I Want, Greased Lightnin', and Sandy.

Why see Grease on stage?

Grease has been a West End and Broadway staple for decades because it delivers pure joy. The live band, the choreography, and the energy of a cast performing these iconic songs create an atmosphere that no film version can replicate. The audience sing-along moments are electric, and the show consistently attracts casts that bring star power and genuine talent to these beloved roles. If you know the songs (and everyone does), seeing them performed live is an entirely different experience.
