Cast Announced for West End Musical Halloween

Theatre enthusiasts are in for a treat this Halloween as West End Musical Productions reveals an all-star cast for the upcoming West End Musical Halloween concert. The one-night-only event will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the iconic Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.

The concert will be hosted by the talented Shanay Holmes, known for her roles in Miss Saigon and The Bodyguard, and who will also be seen as Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh's Oliver! transferring to the West End this December. Holmes will be joined by a lineup of esteemed performers including Nathania Ong of Hamilton and Les Misérables, Erin Caldwell from Heathers and SIX the Musical, Tobias Turley, a winner of ITV1 and ITVX's Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream and Grammy Award winner Zachary James from Hadestown.

This event marks the third instalment of the sell-out concert series featuring a medley of show tunes from darker musicals such as Sweeney Todd, Little Shop Of Horrors, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Phantom Of The Opera, Hadestown, and Beetlejuice. Attendees can expect a spooky and exhilarating evening filled with sing-along opportunities, dance, and a parade of Halloween tricks and treats.

The interactive nature of the West End Musical concerts means the audience is encouraged to dress up, sing, and dance along, becoming part of the show's cast for the night. This unique feature continues to draw crowds and sell out shows, making it a favourite among musical theatre fans.

In addition to the Halloween concert, West End Musical Productions has also announced a festive event, West End Musical Christmas, scheduled for December 16, 2024. Hosted by Trevor Dion Nicholas, currently starring in Next To Normal, the Christmas concert promises a joyous, all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza of heart-warming classics and musical theatre hits to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

These musical concerts are the brainchild of producers Chris Steward and Shanay Holmes, who have been recognized for their significant contributions to the theatre world, earning accolades such as the Black British Theatre Awards for Best Producer and Best Musical Production.
