Les théâtres de West End ont réouvert leurs portes Avec Cabaret la comédie musicale débutant en avant-première hier soir au Playhouse Theatre, nous pouvons maintenant annoncer que tous les théâtres de West End ont réouvert pour la première fois depuis le début de la COVID-19. En mars 2020, dans une décision sans précédent à l'époque moderne, tous les théâtres de West End ont été forcés de fermer leurs portes. Le 15 novembre 2021, chaque théâtre était ouvert. De nouveaux défis subsistent sans aucun doute, mais l'industrie du théâtre et les spectateurs étaient impatients de revenir. Cela a pris 609 très longs jours ! La réouverture des théâtres de West End a été dirigée par la production la plus ancienne du West End, Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap, dans un format de distanciation sociale. Ces derniers jours, l'effervescence associée aux grands nouveaux spectacles arrivant à West End est revenue et l'excitation est palpable.
