A Spellbinding Tale of Time and Love

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button takes F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic short story and relocates it to a Cornish fishing village, where the mysterious birth of Benjamin Button leads to an extraordinary journey of love, loss, and discovery. With a stunning folk-inspired score, the show has been praised for its inventive storytelling, deeply moving performances, and breathtaking live music performed by an actor-musician ensemble.

Originally debuting in 2019, the production enjoyed a sell-out run at Southwark Playhouse in 2023, before making a triumphant transfer to the West End’s Ambassadors Theatre.

A Stellar West End Cast

The production features an outstanding ensemble led by:

  • 🎭 John Dagleish (Sunny Afternoon, The Little Mermaid) as Benjamin Button

  • 🎭 Clare Foster (Crazy For You, The Crown) as Elowen Keene

They are joined by:

Matthew Burns (Once The Musical)
Jonathan Charles (War Horse)

Katy Ellis (Ride)
Anna Fordham (The Good John Proctor)
Philippa Hogg (The Enormous Crocodile)
Damien James (The Play That Goes Wrong)
