Disney’s Hercules Extends West End Run to March 2026

Sold-Out Previews Lead to Extended Booking at Theatre Royal Drury Lane

Disney Theatrical Group has announced that the West End production of Herculeswill extend its run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane until 28 March 2026. The extension follows sold-out previews and strong audience demand for the highly anticipated musical adaptation of Disney’s 1997 animated film.

Featuring music by Alan Menken and lyrics by David Zippel, Hercules boasts a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah. The production is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, co-choreographed by Tanisha Scott, and offers a bold, modern twist on the mythical tale of the demi-god hero.

A Myth Reimagined for the Stage

Set in ancient Greece, the show follows Hercules—caught between two worlds—as he attempts to discover what it truly means to be a hero. With witty dialogue, soaring music, and show-stopping choreography, this epic musical journey is packed with humour, heart, and high-energy spectacle.

The cast features Luke Brady in the title role, with Mae Ann Jorolan as Meg, Trevor Dion Nicholas as Phil, and Stephen Carlile as Hades. The Muses are played by Candace Furbert, Sharlene Hector, Brianna Ogunbawo, Malinda Parris, and Robyn Rose-Li, with Kimmy Edwards and Kamilla Fernandes serving as standbys. The ensemble includes a large company of established and emerging performers.
