AN INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS

War Horse is a collaboration between the National Theatre and Handspring Puppet Company that has now been seen across the globe. To date the show has been seen on Broadway, Canada, Across Australia, on tour across the USA, in Berlin, in the Netherlands, and most recently in South Africa.

WHAT IS WAR HORSE ABOUT?Set against the turbulent times of the First World War, War Horse is the story of a boy (Albert) and his horse (Joey). It is a relationship that will see one follow the other into the depths of no-mans land in an attempt to bring his horse home safely. Audiences journey from Albert's hometown of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France.MORE THAN A PUPPET SHOW

War Horse is one of the most amazing theatrical spectacles on stage today. Working with life-sized puppets, this astonishing group of actors bring not only one horse to life but an entire cavalry regiment!

http://youtu.be/qqbWEonptVo

This is an intimate tale that will have even the most hardened theatre-goer in tears. Internationally acclaimed and awarded it is a must see on anyone’s theatre schedule.
