2020年地下剧场节奖项揭晓

伦敦2020年度Vault节获奖结果今日揭晓。

原定于今日结束的艺术节由于新冠病毒疫情提前一周闭幕。2020年Vault节获奖结果由创办人Mat Burtcher和Andy George，以及戏剧与表演负责人Bec Martin-Williams在社交媒体上公布。

人民选择奖颁给了由Chris Czornjy创作、Adam Lenson Productions制作的《Stages: A Video Game Musical》。该剧于3月3日至8日在Vault演出，其演员包括音乐剧明星Anna Jane Casey和Andrew Langtree，以及Aitch Wylie和Max Alexander-Taylor。

创新奖被Quietly Fighting Theatre的沉浸式现场演出《The Grim》摘得。该演出于2月4日至16日上演，观众化身为自由撰稿的“收割者”，为死神办公室工作。

夜生活奖授予了由Daniel Wye和The Good Witch呈现的《Séayoncé’s Comedy Vault》。这是一个喜剧、歌舞表演和拖装秀，号称“奇趣与精神魅力的夜晚”。

精神奖颁给了Plaster Cast Theatre的《Sound Cistem》，该作品于1月29日至2月6日演出，是一场“酷儿庆祝”和“舞池派对”，挑战对跨性别身体的顺性别凝视。

在1月28日至3月15日的七周内，超过2,700名艺术家向73,000名观众呈现了519个不同的作品。这不包括本周无法继续的97个作品。

今年的艺术节中，由女性、有色人种、残障人士、LGBTQ+艺术家和工人阶级主导的作品数量显著增多。

Burtcher表示：“对于每个人来说这是一个非常困难和恐怖的时期，但我们希望花一点时间来庆祝并认可那些参与Vault Festival 2020的作品和辛勤工作。”

Martin-Williams补充道，尽管我们因提前闭幕而心碎，我们仍然认为，那些在八周中七周内展示作品并团结大家的艺术家和公司应得到一些认可，并为他们的非凡成就而庆祝。
