SO WHO IS JAMIE?

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is inspired by the story of jamie Campbell and his mother Margaret. It's very loosely based on a period in Jamie's life but bits of it have been fictionalised!

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in.

Jamie is terrified about the future.

Jamie is going to be a sensation.

Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

(Cockpit Theatre), The Sound of Music and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London Palladium), Barney’s Colourful World and The King and I (National Tour). John’s television credits include Documental, The Catherine Tate Show, New Tricks, Kerching! and Let’s Roll With Roland Butter.Film credits include God’s Own Country (Sundance Film Festival 2017), Late Night With Albin, Balbita and The Cult (Shorts).
