Prémios Olivier 2018 - Os Vencedores

Os Olivier Awards 2018 foram realizados na noite passada no Royal Albert Hall com Hamilton e The Ferryman entre os maiores vencedores da noite.

Jamael Westman como Alexander Hamilton com o elenco do West End de Hamilton

Hamilton de Lin-Manuel Miranda foi o grande vencedor dos Olivier Awards da noite passada, conquistando não apenas o cobiçado prêmio de Melhor Novo Musical, mas também Melhor Ator em Musical (Giles Terera), Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Musical (Michael Jibson), Melhor Design de Iluminação, Melhor Design de Som, Melhor Novo Musical, Melhor Coreografia e Realização Notável em Música.

A peça The Ferryman de Jez Butterworth ganhou como Melhor Nova Peça, Melhor Diretor para Sam Mendes, junto com o prêmio de Melhor Atriz em Peça (Laura Donnelly).

Bryan Cranston foi premiado como Melhor Ator em Peça por seu papel em Network no National Theatre. Bertie Carvel ganhou como Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Peça por Ink de James Graham, que está agora em cartaz no Gielgud Theatre antes de se transferir para a Broadway. Labour Of Love de James Graham recebeu o prêmio de Melhor Nova Comédia.

Além da vitória de Bryan Cranston, as produções do National Theatre ganharam cinco prêmios, incluindo Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante (Denise Gough), Melhor Design de Figurino (Follies - Vicki Mortimer), Melhor Revival de Musical - Follies e Melhor Revival de Peça - Angels in America.

Sheila Atim e Shirley Henderson de The Girl From The North Country ganharam prêmios por suas atuações. O musical, que estreou no Old Vic, está agora em cartaz no Noel Coward Theatre.
