On 5 July 2018 Everybody's Talking About Jamie reached UK Cinema Box Office Number 1 as the show was screened live into over 500 cinemas across the UK and Ireland.

This live screening was the first from the West End since Billy Elliot in 2015. ComScore confirmed that the screenings reached Number 1 on that night.
Such was the demand that encore screenings of Jamie will be taking place in over 100 cinemas across the UK in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile Jamie New is becoming an international name as plans are underway for a film adaptation and a possible Broadway transfer on the cards. In the meantime Everybody's Talking About Jamie continues at the Apollo Theatre London.
