The Original Two-Part Production Continues to Enchant at the Palace Theatre

On 30 July 2025, the spellbinding stage phenomenon Harry Potter and the Cursed Child celebrated nine years since its world premiere at the Palace Theatre in London. As the only production in the world still performed in its full two-part format, the West End run continues to draw new generations of fans, currently booking through to 15 February 2026.

Since debuting in 2016, the production has earned 9 Olivier Awards and 6 Tony Awards, becoming the most awarded play in Olivier history. Over 2 million people have seen the West End production alone, with more than 11 millionattending globally.

An Epic Production with Unparalleled Stagecraft

With a cast of 45 and a backstage team of 66, each performance involves:

  • 50 wigs

  • 524 sound cues

  • 700 lighting cues

  • 42 wands

  • 50 suitcases

Nine stage managers help orchestrate the technical wizardry required to bring this unique theatrical world to life.
