La versione molto divertente di Christopher Luscombe dello spettacolo Beatrice/Benedick è completa di un magnifico set d'epoca (Simon Highlett), alcuni costumi favolosi, la deliziosa musica di Nigel Hess e il movimento gioioso di Jenny Arnold. Ambientare il dramma nel periodo post-Periodo della Prima Guerra Mondiale funziona bene; il senso di tempi in cambiamento è del tutto appropriato. È un periodo sereno ma vivace e quasi si può sentire l'approccio delle flapper. Le migliori notizie sul teatro britannico dal 1999.
