La versión muy divertida de Christopher Luscombe del espectáculo de Beatrice y Benedick, completa con un magnífico decorado de época (Simon Highlett), algunos trajes fabulosos, la encantadora música de Nigel Hess y el alegre movimiento de Jenny Arnold. Ambientar la obra en el período posterior a la Primera Guerra Mundial funciona muy bien; el sentido de los tiempos cambiantes es totalmente adecuado. Es una época suave pero juguetona, y casi se puede escuchar la llegada de las flappers. Las mejores noticias sobre el teatro británico desde 1999.
