West End Live 2019 - Cartel de espectáculos anunciado

West End Live tendrá lugar en Trafalgar Square, Londres, los días 22 y 23 de junio de 2019. Este evento, completamente gratuito, celebra lo mejor del teatro del West End y ya cumple su decimoquinto año.

El West End Live de este año contará con la participación de nuevos espectáculos que actualmente están en cartel en el West End, entre ellos el ganador del Olivier al Mejor Musical Come From Away, Only Fools and Horses, Waitress, 9 to 5: The Musical, Fiddler On The Roof y Magic Mike Live, entre otros. Estos nuevos títulos compartirán escenario con favoritos de larga trayectoria como Les Misérables, The Phantom Of The Opera y Disney’s The Lion King.

West End Live también ofrecerá un adelanto de algunos de los espectáculos que están a punto de estrenarse, incluidos el musical pop shakespeariano & Juliet, On Your Feet! (el musical de Gloria Estefan), la producción de Jesus Christ Superstar del Regent's Park Open Air Theatre y Heartbeat Of Home de los productores de Riverdance.

West End Live es un evento totalmente gratuito, sin entradas, que atrae a decenas de miles de fans. El evento está organizado y producido por Westminster City Council y la Society Of London Theatre.

Julian Bird, director ejecutivo de SOLT y UK Theatre, declaró: «Tras otro año de récord para la industria teatral de Londres, es fantástico volver a Trafalgar Square y continuar nuestra colaboración con la City of Westminster para mostrar el extraordinario talento y la creatividad de tantas grandes producciones del West End. En ningún otro lugar los aficionados al teatro tienen la oportunidad de ver actuaciones en directo exclusivas de sus espectáculos favoritos… y además gratis».
