Sydnie Christmas Leads New West End Run Through 30 August 2025
Following a successful UK tour, 101 Dalmatians The Musical has arrived in London for a limited six-week summer season at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, where it plays until 30 August 2025. Today, Runaway Entertainment released production images offering a first look at the cast in action, showcasing the visual spectacle and theatrical energy of this pup-filled adventure.
Starring Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas as the iconic villain Cruella de Vil, the cast also features Jeff Brazier (in his stage debut) as Casper, and JLS star Aston Merrygold as Jasper.
A Starry and Playful Ensemble
Joining the principal cast are:
Laura Baldwin as Danielle
Linford Johnson as Pongo
Emma Thornett as Perdi
Samuel Thomas as Tom
Victoria Compson-Bradford and Ronan O’Hara as Swings
Ensemble: Dylan Collymore, Benedict Hastings, Rachel Lea-Gray, Kenan Lewis Smith, Callum Martin, Joe Sleight, Chioma Uma, Jhanaica Van Mook, and Lottie Johnson
The show blends energetic choreography, a witty script, and innovative puppetry to bring Dodie Smith’s classic tale to the stage with warmth, humour, and theatrical flair.
A Fresh Take on a Classic Canine Caper
When fashion-obsessed Cruella sets her sights on crafting a luxurious coat from the fur of Dalmatian puppies, it’s up to Pongo, Perdi, and their adorable litter to outsmart her with the help of friends both human and four-legged.
The musical is based on Dodie Smith’s novel, with music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge, book by Johnny McKnight, and stage adaptation by Zinnie Harris.
Originally staged at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2022, this updated production brings its spectacle indoors for an unforgettable family theatre experience.
