The Shows Must Go On lures the Phantom back for his birthday

The Shows Must Go On You Tube channel celebrates the Phantom Of The Opera's birthday with a by popular demand streaming.

This Friday 9 October, The Shows Must Go YouTube Channel presents by popular demand and to celebrate the first-ever performance of The Phantom Of The Opera on 9 October 1986 in London, the chandelier rises again with Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera 25th Anniversary concert version filmed live at the Royal Albert Hall. PLEASE NOTE: This is the staged concert version not the physical stage show.

Theatre fans will be able to access the show from 7.00pm this Friday 9th October, totally free of charge, however in the UK the show will only be available via the channel for 24hrs (so a Friday night viewing/Saturday matinee is advised!). In 2012 The New Generation DVD was released with new technology and effects plus an all-star cast featuring: Liam Neeson seen in advanced 3D holography – recording, stage and screen star Jason Donovan, Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson, Wet Wet Wet's Marti Pellow, Jettblack's Will Stapleton, Wicked's Kerry Ellis, and the 9-piece Black Smoke Band, the symphonic ULLAdubULLA Strings conducted by Jeff Wayne – plus the incredible 3-tonne 35-foot tall Martian Fighting Machine firing real Heat-Ray flames over the audience.
