Everybody say yeah! The multi-award-winning musical Kinky Boots struts back into London with Strictly Come Dancing star Johannes Radebe as the fabulous Lola. With a score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper and winner of every major Best Musical award, this joyous celebration of friendship, individuality, and finding your fabulous self plays the London Coliseum for a strictly limited season.
When Charlie Price inherits his family's struggling Northampton shoe factory, saving the business – and his relationship – feels impossible. Until he meets Lola, a fabulous drag queen with an outrageous sense of style and very specific footwear needs. Together, they hatch a bold plan: create a line of thigh-high boots sturdy enough for drag artists. It's an unlikely partnership that changes both their lives.
Yes! Kinky Boots is inspired by the true story of Steve Pateman, who saved his family's shoe factory by diversifying into fetish footwear. The 2005 film starring Chiwetel Ejiofor told this story, and the stage musical expanded it with Cyndi Lauper's showstopping score.
Strictly Come Dancing favourite Johannes Radebe plays Lola in this London production. Johannes made his musical theatre debut in the UK tour of Kinky Boots in 2025 and brings his incredible dancing skills and charisma to the role. Matt Cardle (The X Factor, & Juliet) plays Charlie Price.
Cyndi Lauper's Grammy-winning score includes showstoppers like 'Raise You Up/Just Be', 'Everybody Say Yeah', 'Land of Lola', 'The History of Wrong Guys', and 'Sex Is in the Heel'. Every number is designed to get you on your feet!
The London Coliseum is London's largest theatre, with spectacular views from the Stalls and Dress Circle. Premium seats offer the best views of the stunning choreography and costume changes. The Upper Circle provides more affordable options with good sightlines.
Cancellation policy: theatre tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded once purchased.
Johannes Radebe stars as Lola, with Matt Cardle as Charlie Price. Tosh Wanogho-Maud is Alternate Lola (performing Mondays from 6 April). Further London casting to be announced.

This production is directed by Nikolai Foster (Artistic Director of the Curve, Leicester), with choreography by Leah Hill, set and costume design by Robert Jones, musical supervision by George Dyer, lighting by Ben Cracknell, and sound by Adam Fisher.
Kinky Boots won six Tony Awards on Broadway in 2013, including Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Choreography. In London, it won three Olivier Awards including Best New Musical. Cyndi Lauper became the first solo woman to win the Tony Award for Best Original Score. The cast album won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
