Vencedores dos Prêmios Olivier 2019

Prêmios Olivier 2019: Come From Away, The Inheritance e Company se destacam como grandes vencedores da noite. Também foi maravilhoso ver tantos vencedores pela primeira vez na noite dos sonhos do teatro.

Come From Away, Company e The Inheritance foram os maiores vencedores do Olivier Awards deste ano, cada um conquistando quatro títulos.

Come From Away ganhou o prêmio de melhor novo musical, além de melhor som para Gareth Owen, melhor coreógrafo para Kelly Devine e conquista excepcional em música. Company foi eleito melhor revival musical junto com prêmios para sua designer Bunny Christie e atores coadjuvantes Jonathan Bailey e Patti LuPone. Outros vencedores de musicais incluíram os melhores atores Sharon D Clarke por Caroline, Or Change e Kobna Holdbrook-Smith por Tina - The Tina Turner Musical, e The King and I pelo melhor design de figurino para Catherine Zuber. O conjunto de Porgy and Bess ganhou por conquista excepcional em ópera.

The Inheritance foi nomeada melhor nova peça junto com prêmios para Stephen Daldry como melhor diretor, Kyle Soller como melhor ator e Jon Clark para melhor iluminação, enquanto Summer and Smoke ganhou melhor revival e melhor atriz para Patsy Ferran. Os prêmios de ator coadjuvante foram para Monica Dolan por All About Eve e o estreante Chris Walley por The Lieutenant of Inishmore. Outros espetáculos vencedores incluíram melhor comédia Home, I’m Darling, melhor entretenimento e família A Monster Calls, e Flesh and Bone por conquistas excepcionais em um teatro afiliado

Os prêmios foram anunciados esta noite em uma cerimônia no Royal Albert Hall de Londres, apresentada pelo comediante Jason Manford.
