Premios Olivier 2019: Los Ganadores

Los Premios Olivier 2019 vieron a Come From Away, The Inheritance y Company convertirse en los grandes ganadores de la noche. También fue estupendo ver a tantos ganadores por primera vez en la noche del teatro.

Come From Away, Company y The Inheritance fueron los mayores ganadores en los Premios Olivier de este año, llevándose cada uno cuatro títulos.

Come From Away ganó mejor nuevo musical, así como mejor sonido para Gareth Owen, mejor coreografía para Kelly Devine y logro destacado en música. Company fue nombrado mejor reestreno de musical, junto con premios para su diseñadora Bunny Christie y los actores de reparto Jonathan Bailey y Patti LuPone. Otros ganadores de musicales incluyeron a los mejores actores Sharon D Clarke por Caroline, Or Change y Kobna Holdbrook-Smith por Tina - El Musical de Tina Turner, y El Rey y Yo por mejor diseño de vestuario para Catherine Zuber. El elenco de Porgy and Bess ganó por logro destacado en ópera.

The Inheritance fue nombrada mejor nueva obra junto con premios para Stephen Daldry como mejor director, Kyle Soller como mejor actor y Jon Clark por mejor iluminación, mientras que Summer and Smoke ganó mejor reestreno y mejor actriz para Patsy Ferran. Los premios para actores de reparto fueron para Monica Dolan por All About Eve y el recién llegado Chris Walley por The Lieutenant of Inishmore. Otros espectáculos ganadores incluyeron la mejor comedia Home, I’m Darling, mejor entretenimiento y familiar A Monster Calls, y Flesh and Bone por logro destacado en un teatro afiliado.
