Coriolanus Casting Complete: National Theatre Announces Full Cast Including David Oyelowo

The National Theatre has revealed the full cast for its upcoming production of Coriolanus, directed by Josie Rourke. The production stars David Oyelowo in the titular role, with Chereen Buckley as Volumnia and Ashley Gerlach as Aufidius. The play, which explores themes of power, pride, and political manipulation, is set to open on September 15, 2024. Josie Rourke's direction promises a contemporary take on this Shakespearean tragedy, focusing on the human and political elements that resonate with today's audiences. This production is part of the National Theatre's initiative to bring classic plays to modern viewers in an engaging and relevant manner.

Rocky Horror Show Tour Announces Narrator Casting

Comedian Nathan Caton is set to join the cast of Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show as the Narrator for the 2024 UK tour. Caton, known for his appearances on "Live at the Apollo," "Mock the Week," and "Russell Howard’s Good News," brings his comedic flair to this iconic role. He will perform in venues including Bromley, High Wycombe, Fareham, Malvern, Bath, York, Glasgow, Cardiff, Woking, Blackpool, and Sheffield.

The cast also includes Jason Donovan, who will lead the production, with Stephen Webb reprising his role as Frank N Furter at select performances and venues in 2024. Adam Strong will debut as Frank in February 2025. The roles of Brad and Janet will be played by Connor Carson and Lauren Chia, respectively.
