Kinky Boots has announced today that it is extending its current booking period until Saturday 28 May 2016, with tickets for this latest extension going on sale on Monday 19th October.
Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots takes you from a gentlemen’s shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price (Killian Donnelly) is struggling to live up to his father’s expectations and continue the family business of Price & Son. With the factory’s future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola (Matt Henry), a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.
Kinky Boots features a book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein and music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award winner Cyndi Lauper.
Douglas Mayo has had a life long love affair with musical theatre. He has authored several books on publicity and marketing for amateur theatre groups. He is in the process of developing a musical based on his original story concept.
