Burlesque the Musical Sets West End Premiere at the Savoy Theatre This Summer

Christina Aguilera-Produced Stage Adaptation of Hit Film Arrives in London
The glitz, glamour and grit of Burlesque are coming to the West End. Following record-breaking previews and over 120,000 tickets sold, the stage adaptation of the beloved 2010 film will make its official West End premiere at the Savoy Theatre from Thursday 10 July to Saturday 6 September 2025.
Starring songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia, and fresh original music by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley, Burlesque the Musical promises to be London’s hottest new musical event.
✨ The Gala Night will be held on Tuesday 22 July 2025 at 7pm.
A Dazzling New Story of Self-Discovery
Burlesque the Musical follows Ali, a small-town dreamer who arrives in New York searching for her mother and finds herself in a hidden underground club where sequins shimmer, dance ignites, and lives are changed. Along the way, she discovers her voice, her strength, and an unlikely family of misfits and stars.
Based on the Golden Globe-nominated film that starred Christina Aguilera and Cher, the musical adaptation is written and produced by Steven Antin (creator of the original film), with additional material by Kate Wetherhead.
