British Theatre tonight celebrated the return of live theatre with the Olivier Awards 2022 held at the Royal Albert Hall. Here is the list of winners in full.

The Olivier Awards 2022 were held late this afternoon at the Royal Albert Hall. This marks the return of a live ceremony for the first time in several years with Jason Manford returning to compere.
This year's winners included Back To The Future The Musical which won Best New Musical, Best Musical Revival winner Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club also saw Eddie Redmayne (Best Actor), Jessie Buckley (Best Actress), Rebecca Frecknall (Best Director), Nick Lidster (Best Sound Design), Elliot Levey (Best Supporting Actor - Musical), and Liza Sadovy (Best Supporting Actress - Musical).
Life of Pi was the other big winner tonight winning for Best Play, Hiran Abeysekera (Best Actor), Tim Hatley for Design and Nick Barnes & Finn Caldwell for Puppets, Tim Lutkin and Andrzej Goulding (Lighting Design) and 7 actors who play the Tiger.
