Kinky Boots Will Play Final London Performance in January 2019

The London production of award-winning musical Kinky Boots will strut its way out of the Adelphi Theatre on 12 January 2019.
Kinky Boots 2017-18 London Company. Photo: Matt Crockett Producers have announced that after more than 1400 performances Kinky Boots the musical is to close at London's Adelphi Theatre.
Based on the 2005 film that featured a screenplay by Tim Firth, Kinky Boots has a book by Harvey Fierstein and music and lyrics by Cyndui Lauper and is Directed and Choreographed by Jerry Mitchell.
The show won three Olivier Awards in 2016 including Best Musical and the Tony Award for Best Musical amongst other major awards.
A recent cast change saw Oliver Tompsett take on the role of Charlie Price, with Natalie McQueen playing Lauren and Simon-Anthony Rhoden playing Lola.
Kinky Boots will strut its stuff for the final time at the Adelphi Theatre on 12 January 2019. The Kinky Boots UK Tour was recently announced kicking off in Northampton, the town in which the show is set in September 2019.
Kinky Boots has bought enormous joy to audiences since its London opening and we wish it well as it sets out on tour.
