Altar Boyz the musical announces Broadway cast reunion

Producer Ken Davenport has announced that cast members from the Broadway run of Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz are having a virtual reunion on 9 July.
Running for 5 years Off-Broadway, Altar Boyz was Davenport's first attempt at producing an original musical. The show caught the imagination of the public with a combination of irreverent humour, catchy songs and the incredible talent of five performers who could have given N'Synch or Backstreet Boyz a run for their money. I caught the show several times in New York and at that time I seem to recall challenging Backstreet Boyz to a dance-off at their album launch - it was that sort of show. I caught it again when Paul Taylor-Mills produced the UK premiere at the Greenwich Theatre, London and was impressed that the humour on the whole translated.
When the show finished Off-Broadway it had several successful US tours and was even performed in Korea.
On the Altar Boyz reunion Livestream, you'll see original cast members including Scott Porter, Matthew; Tyler Maynard, Mark; Andy Karl, Luke; Ryan Duncan, Juan; David Josefsberg, Abraham; Kevin Kern (“Wonder-study” #1); and Daniel Torres (“Wonder-study” #2)
The live stream reunion will also feature Gary Adler and Michael, Patrick Walker, Composers & Lyricists, Kevin Del Aguila, Bookwriter - Marc Kessler, Co-Conceiver, Robyn Goodman, Producer, Stafford Arima, Director, Christopher Gattelli, Choreographer, Lynne Shankel, Music Director & Co-Orchestrator.
Self-proclaimed Altarholic and Broadway star-herself, Susan Blackwell, to host! You know Susan from the original cast of , Now Here This, a whole bunch of TV, the incredible podcast The Spark File, and lots more.
