La completamente affidabile Laura Pitt-Pulford porta forza, calore e riflessione al personaggio di Milly - francamente, supera Jane Powell di una certa misura. La sua Milly è completamente credibile, una contraddizione realistica di pensieri e azioni, e una donna che non teme di essere guidata (e legata) dalla sua passione - per Adam e per la vita.
