Il nuovo musical Come From Away e un revival con cambio di genere di Company hanno guidato le nomination del 2019 con nove candidature ciascuno, seguiti da vicino dall'epica messa in scena di The Inheritance che si è trasferita al Noel Coward Theatre dal Young Vic con otto nomination. Il National Theatre ha quattro produzioni - The Lehman Trilogy, Home, I'm Darling, Nine Night e Antony and Cleopatra incluse nelle nomination.
