Les Miserables The Staged Concert se estrenó anoche en el Gielgud Theatre de Londres. Estas magníficas fotos se han publicado para celebrar esta ocasión tan especial.

El reparto lo encabezan Michael Ball como Javert, Alfie Boe como Jean Valjean, Carrie Hope Fletcher como Fantine, Matt Lucas como Thénardier, Rob Houchen como Marius, Bradley Jaden como Enjolras, Katy Secombe como Madame Thénardier, Shan Ako como Éponine y Lily Kerhoas como Cosette; y, durante tres funciones a la semana, John Owen-Jones como Jean Valjean.

La aclamadísima partitura de Les Misérables incluye canciones como I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, Stars, Bring Him Home, Do You Hear the People Sing?, One Day More, Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, Master Of The House y muchas más. Les Misérables está escrita por Alain Boublil y Claude-Michel Schönberg y se basa en la novela de Victor Hugo. La música es de Claude-Michel Schönberg, las letras de Herbert Kretzmer y el texto original en francés de Alain Boublil y Jean-Marc Natel, con material adicional de James Fenton y adaptación de Trevor Nunn y John Caird. Se representa en el Gielgud Theatre hasta el 30 de noviembre de 2019.
