Lovely venue, very well organised and with delightful and helpful staff. Venue feels both old and new and has a good layout. Stage and event space are usefully sited and seats provide a good viewing experience. Acoustics also help bring the venue to life.

I very much enjoyed the concert in Cadoga Hall dedicated to P. Tchaikovsky. The music, performed largely by very young musicians, was impressive, and the full orchestra sounded wonderful. The idea of combining live storytelling by actors with timeless music was truly brilliant. Unfortunately, the venue’s foyer is not able to accommodate arriving visitors comfortably, even 30 minutes before the performance. There are no chairs or tables available, and the space feels overcrowded and cramped. The staff, rather unsmiling, simply hand out the evening programme. The coffee was extremely poor and served in a paper cup, which further detracted from the overall experience.

We were incredibly lucky to hear a wonderful performance of the opera Macbeth! An exceptional orchestra and conductor, exceptional Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and Macduff! The hall has incredible acoustics!
