Winners have been announced for the UK Theatre Awards 2018 at a ceremony hosted by Tyrone Huntley at London’s Guildhall.
At today’s UK Theatre Awards 2018 ceremony Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre won in four categories, including The Almighty Sometimes which won Best New Play and Three Sisters which won Best Touring production.
The Assassination of Katie Hopkins was awarded Best Musical Production, with strong competition from other nominees Miss Littlewood from the RSC, Pieces of String produced by the Mercury Theatre Colchester and TBO Productions, and the Bolton Octagon’s Summer Holiday.
The UK Theatre Awards recognise achievements in theatre across Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland.
