Emmerdale's Natalie Anderson joins cast of Fat Friends the musical

Natalie Anderson Producer's have announced that Natalie Anderson (Emmerdale, The Royal) will join the UK tour cast of Kay Mellor's Fat Friends the musical when it opens in Leeds later this year. Natalie has also been seen on TV in programmes including The Biz and Wire In The Blood. She has also appeared on stage as Nessarose in Wicked (West End), Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet (West Yorkshire Playhouse) and as Tara in Exposure the musical at St James Theatre.

Natalie will play the role of Lauren in Fat Friends - The Musical, a  role originated on screen by Emmerdale co-star Gaynor Faye. Natalie said "I'm so thrilled to be playing Lauren in Fat Friends the Musical. I was a huge fan of the original series and cannot wait to bring it to life on stage. I’m also equally excited to be working with the incredible Kay Mellor whom, from an early age, I have greatly admired and been inspired by." Natalie joins the previously announced Jodie Prenger, Sam Bailey, Elaine C Smith and Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff with further casting to be announced.
