Steel Magnolias UK Tour - Robert Harding's beloved play which inspired the film of the same name will tour the UK in 2023. Steel Magnolias UK Tour 2023 Steel Magnolias is the hilarious and heart-warming true story that inspired the hit film starring Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts. The beloved film is now beautifully brought to life on stage and features an all-star cast. What is Steel Magnolias about? Six women come together in a small town beauty salon in the American South and prove that female friendship conquers all. Faced with the highs and lows of love and life, and amongst the chaos of work, marriage and children, they unite to gossip, unwind and set the world to rights. This iconic comedy is the perfect ticket for every generation and proves that one hair appointment might just change your life. Steel Magnolias cast Jacqueline Jossa Jacqueline is an award-winning actress who played Lauren Branning in BBC1’s EastEnders from 2010 – 2018. She won Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards. She made her West End debut in the cast of Alan Menken’s A Christmas Carol, playing the role of Emily/Ghost of Christmas Future, at the Dominion Theatre. Jacqueline won the 2019 series of I’m A Celebrity… on ITV. Laura Main Laura Main was born in Aberdeen and trained at the Webber Douglas Academy. Laura has appeared in all twelve series of Call The Midwife, initially playing Sister Bernadette, before giving up her wimple and reverting to Shelagh Turner. Other TV credits include: The Mill, Father Brown, Monarch of the Glen, Murder City and The Forsyte Saga.  Laura Main is currently scheduled to perform in venues up to and including Cardiff.
