Following an acclaimed record-breaking tour, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures will reprise The Red Shoes UK Tour by popular demand.

Matthew Bourne's The Red Shoes UK Tour

Following the success of Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and Car Man and their record-breaking World premiere tour of The Red Shoes, New Adventures have announced that Matthew Bourne's production of The Red Shoes UK Tour will be back in 2020 by popular demand.

A beloved fairy-tale and Academy Award-winning movie, The Red Shoes has seduced audiences and inspired generations of dancers with its tale of obsession, possession and one girl’s dream to be the greatest dancer in the world. Victoria Page lives to dance but her ambitions become a battleground between the two men who inspire her passion.

The Red Shoes will have a new score arranged by Terry Davies, using the mesmerising music of golden-age Hollywood composer Bernard Herrmann, the productions will have sets and costumes by Lez Brotherston, lighting by Paule Constable and Sound by Paul Groothius.
