The Singin’ In The Rain UK Tour 2022 will see the Chichester Festival Theatre’s Olivier Award-winning production of the classic musical Singin’ In The Rain return to the stage.
The Singin’ In The Rain tour has announced that's Sadlers Wells London dates have been moved to 2022 and will now play the venue from 30 July - 5 September 2021.
Directed by Jonathan Church and choreographed by Andrew Wright, this production of Singin’ in the Rain opened at Chichester Festival Theatre and extended due to unprecedented public demand, before a transfer to London which received huge critical acclaim and four Olivier Award nominations.
Featuring songs from the Classic MGM movie by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed including Make ‘em Laugh, Good Morning, Moses Supposes and Singin’ in the Rain and original screenplay and adaptations are by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, fans of the original movie which featured Gene Kelly, Donal O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds are sure to enjoy this favourite musical live on stage. It’s no wonder this film is regularly voted one of the most popular musicals of all time.
This production of Singin’ In The Rain is designed by Simon Higlett with lighting by Tim Mitchell. Casting and further creatives are to be announced.
After the rain stops at Sadler’s Wells this production will visit Japan before starting its UK and Ireland Tour.
